● The number of applicants for each examination category is expected to be the number of applicants who have completed the procedures.
● If the acceptance criteria are not met, the number of successful applicants may not reach the number of students to be admitted.

  • *1 As a rule, all Faculty of Languages and Cultures Department of Foreign Languages will be studying abroad in the second semester of 2nd year. Non-Japanese nationals may not select courses in their native language or mother tongue. Destinations for study abroad vary depending on the course. English Course German Course is selected from England, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, and Malaysia, is selected from Germany, French Course is selected from France and Canada, Spanish Course is selected from Spain, Chinese Course is selected from China and Taiwan, and Korean Course is selected from South Korea (destinations are subject to change due to various reasons). As a general rule, visa application is required. If a visa is not issued, you will not be able to study in Japan.
  • *2 In principle, the Department of Department of Global Japanese Studies in the School Faculty of Languages and Cultures will conduct a language and culture training program for all students in the first semester of their second year. The training destinations will be the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia (study destinations may change due to various circumstances). In addition, the training destinations for international students will be domestic universities affiliated with our university. In principle, a visa application is required. If a visa is not issued, students will not be able to study abroad. In addition, 50 of the 150 students will be recruited through the special selection of international students. For details on the application, please refer to the "Entrance Examination Guidelines 2025 Special Selection of International Students."

    • *3 For those who have chosen the old curriculum transitional measures, the combinations of "old modern society and old ethics", "old modern society and old politics/economics", "old modern society and old ethics, old politics/economics", and "old ethics and old politics/economics" are not accepted. Also, the combination of "two mathematics subjects" is not accepted. If three or more subjects are taken, the two highest scores will be used to determine pass/fail.
